Spring Roll is an Indo-Chinese dish and also a popular street food in India. You will find Spring Rolls in every restaurant’s menu. There are various varieties of Spring Rolls that are made like vegetable spring rolls, noodles spring rolls, egg spring rolls, even chicken spring rolls are also there. But this blog is all about the vegetarian recipe so, here I am sharing only veg noodles spring roll recipe.
Spring Rolls Recipe is an easy recipe that you can easily make it at home. This amazing crispy evening snack recipe goes good with a hot cup of tea or coffee. The main thing for making spring rolls is wrapper/spring rolls sheets.
I am also sharing the recipe of spring roll wrappers/sheets here, that you can easily make at home. But honestly, this my first time, I try spring roll sheet at home otherwise I get these spring roll sheets from the market. Because personally I love to try something new in food by myself, so I decided to give it a try. The taste of home-made spring roll sheets is delicious and tasty. You can try this recipe at home.
Here, I am going to share a recipe of Chowmein Spring Rolls. In these spring rolls, I used simple stuffing of veg. Chowmein. I am using a simple home-made Veg Chowmein recipe that I already shared in my previous post.

Noodles Spring Rolls Recipe
Ingredients
Ingredients for Spring Rolls
- 1½ cup Maida (All purpose flour)
- 1 tbsp Corn starch
- 1 tbsp oil (vegetable oil)
- salt (as required)
- Veg Chowmein
- oil (as required for deep frying)
- ½ cup Corn Starch Paste
Instructions
Method of making spring roll sheets
- Take 1½ cup of Maida (all-purpose flour) in the bowl.
- Add 1 tbsp of Corn starch and salt (as per taste).
- Then add 1 tbsp of oil.
- Now, add water in it, knead well and make a soft dough.
- Cover the dough for 15-20 minutes.
- After 15-20 minutes, make four balls of the dough with the help of your hand palm.
- Now, place 1 dough ball on the rolling board and roll it in round shape.
- Kept aside that rolled sheet, take another dough ball, roll it in the same manner. Then apply oil on that sheet with the help of a spoon or with your hands.
- Place each rolled sheet on another. Roll both sheets together as big you as you can.
- Heat a Tava or fry pan and place rolled sheets on to it.
- Bake it on both sides. In this process, you can notice that both sheets are getting separated naturally.
- When it is done, separate it. Now spring roll sheets are now ready.
Method of making Spring Rolls
- Take ½ tbsp of corn starch, add water and make a thin paste. This paste works as a glue.
- Then cut the edges of the sheets and place 1 tbsp of noodles in it.
- Apply a corn starch paste on the edge of the sheet.
- Roll it tightly.
- Gently fold the sheet from sideways and apply the paste on the edges of the sheet.
- Do it again from the other side.
- Fold from the upside. This folding is done very gently and closes the edges of the rolls with paste.
- Spring rolls are now ready to deep fry.
- Heat Kadai, add oil (as required for frying).
- When the oil is getting hot enough to deep fry then add spring roll in the Kadai. Deep fry it.
- Spring rolls turn golden then drain it in tissue paper.
- Noodles Spring Rolls are now ready to serve with a hot cup of tea.
