Firstly for making this Soya Chunk Pulao Recipe, you have to soak 1 cup of soya chunks in hot water for 5-10 minutes and chop veggies. Here I am using carrot, gobi, and onions.
Then rinse 500 gm of basmati rice.
After that, heat pressure cooker and add oil in it.
Add ½ tbsp of cumin seeds in the cooker.
Add 1 bay leaf, 1-2 cloves black cardamom, 3-4 black pepper, and small cinnanmon stick.
Mix it well, then add all chopped veggies and soaked spongy soya chunks in the pressure cooker.
After 5 minutes, add rinse basmati rice, ½ tbsp of red chilli powder, and salt (as required) in it. Mix it very well for 7-8 minutes.
Then add 1-liter water in the pressure cooker. (It double the quantity of rice.)
Leave the pressure cooker on high flame. Turn off the gas in ½ whistle.
Tasty healthy and quick Soya Chunks pulao is now ready.
Serve it with Raita or you can also skip it.
