You can simply serve this with any raita you like. Soya Chunks Pulao is a healthy protein-rich pulao recipe. Here I am adding cauliflower, carrots, and onions, you can add any vegetables in this pulao.
Sometimes I just crave to have this pulao recipe, so my mother made this pulao recipe as an evening snack by adding a lot of veggies and soya chunks. Soya Chunks are the spongy Soyabean nuggets that are easily available in the market.

The first thing to keep in mind before making soya chunks pulao is, you need to soak soya chunks in hot water for 5-10 minutes that will help in removing the impurities and makes soya chunks soft & spongy. For making this soya chunks pulao, you need some spices, soya chunks, basmati rice, and some vegetables. You should always use basmati rice in any rice-based dishes that will make the dish tastier and delicious.

Ingredients
- 500 gm Basmati Rice
- 1 cup Soya Chunks
- ½ cup Chopped Carrot
- ½ cup Gobi (Cauliflower florets)
- 1 Sliced Onion
- ½ tbsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 3-4 Black Peppar
- ½ Cinamon Stick
- 1-2 Cloves
- 1 Black Cardamom
- ½ tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt (as required)
Instructions
- Firstly for making this Soya Chunk Pulao Recipe, you have to soak 1 cup of soya chunks in hot water for 5-10 minutes and chop veggies. Here I am using carrot, gobi, and onions.
- Then rinse 500 gm of basmati rice.
- After that, heat pressure cooker and add oil in it.
- Add ½ tbsp of cumin seeds in the cooker.
- Add 1 bay leaf, 1-2 cloves black cardamom, 3-4 black pepper, and small cinnanmon stick.
- Mix it well, then add all chopped veggies and soaked spongy soya chunks in the pressure cooker.
- After 5 minutes, add rinse basmati rice, ½ tbsp of red chilli powder, and salt (as required) in it. Mix it very well for 7-8 minutes.
- Then add 1-liter water in the pressure cooker. (It double the quantity of rice.)
- Leave the pressure cooker on high flame. Turn off the gas in ½ whistle.
- Tasty healthy and quick Soya Chunks pulao is now ready.
- Serve it with Raita or you can also skip it.
