Ingredients

  • 1 cup Besan (Gram Flour)
  • 1 cup Finely Chopped Onions
  • 1 cup Fresh Cream (Malai)
  • 1 Chopped Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
  • ½ tbsp turmeric powder
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Kasturi Methi

Instructions

How to make Kofte

  • Add 1 cup of besan in bowl, add salt (as per taste), and kasturi methi in it.
  • Then add 2 tbsp of fresh cream (malai) in it. Mix it well.
  • Knead it to make a thick dough. (without using water)
  • Now, make small ball of this dough.
  • Heat oil in the Pan for deep frying the kofta balls.
  • Deep fry it until it turns golden brown.
  • Kofte is ready. Now its time to make Curry for Kofte.

How To Make Curry For Besan Kofta

  • Add cumin seeds(jeera) and 1 cup of chopped onion in the same pan.
  • When onions is completely cooked then add ½ tbsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1tbsp of dhania powder, salt (as per taste), and Kasturi methi in it.
  • Mix all masalas and add chopped green chilli in it.
  • After that add 1 cup of Fresh cream (malai) in it. Mix it and then immediately add 1 glass of water.
  • Let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • When it completely boiled then add kofta balls in it.
  • Now turn off the gas and enjoy Besan Kofta with hot chapati (roti).
