  • 1 cup Maize Flour
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • cup Desi Ghee
  • 2 elaichi (Cardamom)
  • 5-6 Chopped Almonds


  • Heat a pan and to add ⅓ cup of desi ghee.
  • When desi ghee is all melted then add 1 cup of Maize flour.
  • Stir continuously on low-medium flame.
  • After 7-8 minutes, it changes the color into brown.
  • Once the color of flour changes, Now, it's time to add water in flour.
  • Then add elaichi (cardamom) in it.
  • Stir it on low flame.
  • Add ½ cup of sugar in the pan.
  • Mix it well, and lastly, add chopped almonds on it.
  • Now, Maize Flour Halwa is ready to serve.
