  • Fresh Malai (Milk Cream)
  • 1 tbsp Wheat Flour
  • cup Milk
  • Some Kesar threads (Saffron)
  • Sugar (as per taste)


  • Take Fresh Malai in the vessel (Kadai) and add wheat flour in the Malai. Stir continously make sure there are no lumps.
  • Stir in small intervals around 35 minutes.
  • After that you can notice ghee in Malai.
  • Keep Stiring after 35 minutes malai wheat flour mixture turns little brown and the amount of Desi Ghee is increased.
  • Then strain all desi ghee in steel container.
  • Now add 1 cup of milk in that mixture. Stir it.
  • Now add Kesar (Saffron) in it. Mix it well.
  • When it turns brown then add sugar in it.
  • Stir it in small intervals until the milk in the mixture is completely dry that means it's done.
  • Now take it out in plate let it cool.
  • When it's cooldown then take small part of mixture in the palm make small flat balls. Garnish it with chopped almonds.
  • Finally Malai Peda is ready.
