Ingredients for Papdi (Puri)

  • 1 cup Maida (All Purpose flour)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt (as required)
  • Pinch of Ajwain

Ingredients for Assembling Sev Puri

  • 10-15 Papdi (Puri)
  • Boiled Mash Potato
  • Sweet Chutney (Tamarind Chutney)
  • Bhuna Jeera (Roasted Cumin Seeds)
  • salt
  • Plain Curd (Dahi)
  • Finely Chopped Onions
  • Nylon Sev


How To Make Papdi (Puri)

  • Firstly, you have to prepare a thick dough of maida or (All-Purpose Flour).
  • Then make small balls of dough and roll it in the flat surface with the help of belan.
  • Then cut it with help of small katori.
  • When it's done, then make hole in the raw papdi with help of fork. That hole help in making papdis otherwise your papdis turns golgappe.
  • Heat enough oil in the pan for frying.
  • Now, add papdis in the pan. Deep fry it.
  • Cool it down at room temperature. It makes papdi more crispy.
  • Now, Papdis is ready for assembling.

How To Assemble Sev Puri Chaat

  • Take 14-15 Papdi in plate and add mashed boil potatoes on it.
  • Then add sweet chutney on top of it. You can also add green chutney on it.
  • After that, add plain curd (Dahi) with help of spoon, sprinkle salt, bhuna jeera powder (roasted cumin seeds) and chaat masala.
  • Sprinkle finely chopped onions on it.
  • Lastly add Sev top of it.
  • Simple and quick Sev Puri Chaat is now ready to serve.
