Bhindi Do Pyaza is a North Indian recipe that is the most common sabji of every household. Mostly Bhindi is available in the summer season of India. It is a healthy recipe because it is rich in a lot of vitamins and it has very low calories. Bhindi is also called Okra. Bhindi Do Pyaza is mostly served in lunch or dinner. The combo of Bhindi (Okra), Dal or Kadhi with hot chapati is unbeatable. Bhindi Do Pyaza is my favorite school lunch. Personally. I love to have Bhindi with Parantha.
Bhindi (Okra) is a tasty recipe but the process of cooking Okra is bit challenging because of its sliminess. Bhindi (Okra) release sticky slime by nature. If you want to make delicious Bhindi then you have to remove that stickiness from Bhindi (Okra). If you can’t remove stickiness from Bhindi then you will ruin this recipe. There are so many ways to make Bhindi like Bharva Bhindi, Kurkuri Bhindi, Masala Bhindi, and many others but my favorite is Bhindi Do Pyaza.
To remove the slime from Bhindi, firstly you have to wash the bhindi (Okra) then tap it with a kitchen towel and leave it in the air overnight or you can also keep it in the sunlight for an hour. When Bhindi is completely dry then chop it in 1 inch. This is the first important step before making Bhindi. That will help to make a tasty Bhindi.
Here I am going to share the recipe of Bhindi Do Pyaza. It is so simple recipe and doesn’t take a lot of time to cook.
I hope you will like this delicious recipe of Bhindi Do Pyaza.
